3shape Poland has moved to new premises

The Polish branch of the Danish company has officially opened its new premises at ul. Zapadła.

Mikael Petersen, the President of 3shape Poland and the Vice-President of the Group who works from Denmark visited the Polish branch for the gala which took place on Friday.

“We are opening a new chapter in the history of our company. It is not only a change of the premises. This change will also translate into new staff, new products, and primarily, new direction for 3shape Poland’s development” – said Mikael Petersen during the gala. “We have already engaged in talks about further extension of this building, which will increase our production capacity even further”.

3shape Poland belongs to the 3shape group, a leader in the manufacturing of 3D scanners used in dentistry and prosthodontics. The Polish branch was established two years ago and its premises were located in Dołuje. The branch currently employs approx. 60 persons and it is the main production plant of the concern.

“Over the last year our products received medical device certificates. The process required creating new conditions and fulfilment of specific manufacturing standards – this was the main reason for the move.” – explains Łukasz Kurzątkowski, quality and production engineering manager. “In addition, we needed more space to improve the working conditions for our people and to develop.”

Scanner manufacturing and scanner maintenance services are the main divisions of the branch. Thousands of scanners sold all over the world are produced here annually. The Company also develops prototypes of new products – this area is to be expanded in future. By implication, more staff is planned to be employed, even up to 120 persons.
