New Directors of Z.Ch. Police SA

Zbigniew Miklewicz, Bogusław Kokotowski i Tomasz Zieliński joined the Management Board of the Company.

Supervisory Board of Zakłady Chemiczne Police SA appointed Zbigniew Miklewicz the Chairman of the Board and CEO. He was also vested with coordination and management of Economic Director function. Prior to the appointment, Zbigniew Miklewicz was acting as the chairman. Earlier he had held the position of the Chief Accountant.

Bogusław Kokotowski (36) was appointed a Deputy Chairman and commercial director; before, he had been in charge of purchasing policy in the company.

Tomasz Zieliński (31) was appointed a Deputy Chairman and Director in charge of strategy and development. He used to work in DGA, known in Szczecin as an organizer of courses for laid-off shipyard workers.
Janusz Motyliński, Deputy Chairman, Director in charge of organization and management, elected by employees, has remained in the Board.

The new management board has commenced its office period as at the appointment date, except from Tomasz Zieliński, who will join the Company on 1 August.

“Having met all candidates, the Supervisory Board made the decision, expecting the newly appointed management board to focus on improvement of the Company’s financial standing”, said Marcin Likierski, Chairman of the Supervisory Board in Zakłady Chemiczne Police SA.

Zakłady Chemiczne Police SA belongs to the largest chemical companies in Poland, belonging to the group of entities of so called Great Chemical Synthesis. The former state owned company was in 1995 transformed into a joint stock company, and since July 2005 Zakłady Chemiczne "POLICE" SA has been a public company quoted on the Stock Exchange.

The company's profile is concentrated on production of mineral fertilizers (multicomponent fertilizers and urea), titanium white (titanium dioxide) and chemicals.

The company is the leader in its sector, and stable 50% shares in the external markets place it in the group of the largest Polish exporters. Polcie is distinguished by the unique in Poland production of titanium dioxide, size of production of ammonia, phosphoric and sulphuric acids, and by its position in the sector of multicomponent fertilizers - the Company manufactures 50% of all fertilisers from this group consumed in Poland.

The company employs over 3000 people and is one of the biggest in Wetstern Pomerania.
