On 16 June, for the first time in Goleniów airport history, a charter plane will fly to Greece. Triada travel agent will launch regular flights to Zakynthos. The last charter flight in this season is planned for 30 September. From 17 June, other charter flights will become more frequent: to Turkish Antalya (twice a week) and to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh in Egipt (four times a week instead of two). From 30 April passengers will be able to fly from Goleniów to Monastir (Tunisia).

"Thanks to these connections, in 2009 we are likely to report a 30% growth in the number of passengers comparing to the record high result of 40.5 thousand passengers in 2008," estimates Krzysztof Domagalski, the Spokesman of the Szczecin Goleniów airport.
