Chairman of the Management Board of Zakłady Chemiczne Police Resigns

"I have resigned for important personal reasons," Ryszard Siwiec commented his decision shortly.

The General Shareholders’ Meeting approving the financial statements for 2008 was held in Zakłady Chemiczne Police on 25 June 2008. After the end of the Meeting, the Chairman of the Management Board, Ryszard Siwiec, filed its resignation to the Supervisory Board, to be approved during its next seating.

During the General Shareholders’ Meeting, the shareholders approved the financial statements for 2008 disclosing a net profit exceeding PLN 30 million. The Shareholder decided that the total 2008 net profit will be used for covering previous years’ losses.

Currently, the Management Board of the company is composed of Ryszard Siwiec, Janusz Motyliński and Zbigniew Miklewicz.

Local branch of Gazeta Wyborcza informs that Ryszard Siwiec was told to resign by the Ministry of Treasury.
