A new logistic park is being developed in Szczecin

Warehouses with the area of 35.5 thousand square meters are being built at ul. Kablowa, Załom, by a subsidiary of the American Panattoni Development Company.

Panattoni Park Szczecin will comprise two buildings with the area of 35.5 thousand square meters, which can be extended by further 35 thousand square meters. Each facility will offer unloading docks, ground level entrance gates and vehicle yards in addition to extra parking spaces, announced Ewelina Cichuta, Konkret PR, on behalf of the investor.
 
We plan that the first-stage space will be handed over to lessees in several phases, by the end of next year, informed Tomasz Śrama, Leasing Manager, Panattoni Europe. Earthworks began at the turn of August and September.
 
Pierce AB, the largest Swedish distributor of motorcycle accessories and clothing, will lease 11 thousand square meters of Panattoni Park Szczecin as its logistic center. In Poland, the company operates the XLmoto.pl and 24mx.pl online stores. The Panattoni Park Szczecin warehouse will replace its current facilities located in Germany, France and Sweden, and the Swedish company’s products will be distributed from Szczecin to Poland, Germany and Scandinavia.
 
As an e-commerce leader, we know the importance of the lead time. Relocation of our distribution center to Szczecin will improve the efficiency of the parcel handling process on the European market. Closeness to the Scandinavian and Western European markets as well as access to qualified staff were the key factors affecting our selection of this location, noticed Jacek Obrał, Country Manager, Pierce AB.
 
Who else will lease space at Kablowa? Currently, the investor is conducting negotiations with several potential clients, whose names cannot be revealed yet. At the same time, warehouse and manufacturing space for lease in and around Szczecin attracts considerable interest, also of foreign business entities. We are analyzing other potential real property on an ongoing basis and are not saying no to further investment in Szczecin, said Tomasz Śrama.
 
Panattoni Europe is a warehouse space developer, a European affiliate of the American Panattoni Development Company. Carrying on its business for over a decade now, it has developed warehouse parks with the aggregate area of more than 2 million square meters, including 24 facilities in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It focuses on construction investment projects tailored to individual client needs.
 
Panattoni Park Szczecin will be one of the major logistic centers around Szczecin. The North-West Logistic Park, located two kilometers away from it, has the area of 64 thousand square meters and, as announced by the investors, will be extended to 77 thousand square meters. The Prologis logistic center in Goleniow is being extended from more than 50 thousand to more than 80 thousand square meters. Plans to develop warehouse space of 40 thousand square meters in the Szczecin port were announced in October by a company from the Waimea group (owner of the North-West Logistic Park).
