The Szczecin branch of Greencarrier moved to the North-West Logistic Park (NWLP) in October last year.  Prior to that, before commencement of its activity, the company had been occupying the hall as a temporary warehouse. The local distribution centre stores the goods received from their clients before they are shipped to the recipients abroad. “We also provide LTL (less than truckload) and FTL (full truck load) services. We mainly focus on transport services between Scandinavia and Poland, but also domestic and international transport”, says Grzegorz Sas, the manager of Greencarrier’s distribution centre in Szczecin.

“We are also planning on opening a sales office in Szczecin soon”, announces Grzegorz Sas. Today the Szczecin branch has four employees and is looking for more.

One of the clients of the Swedish logistic company is Oktan Energy – Wina. “We handle Oktan containers which arrive at Szczecin port from Argentina, Chile and South Africa, and we unload goods arriving from the whole Europe”, says Arkadiusz Prejna, director of Greencarrier Poland. The wine imported by Oktan is then sent to Polish shops, boutiques, restaurants and hotels, as well as an increasing number of online shops.

Greencarrier Freight Services, with its registered office in Sweden, is one of the leading Scandinavian private companies specializing in global transport solutions – by sea, air, road and rail – mainly to Eastern Europe, Central Asia and China. It also provides warehousing services. Greencarrier has distribution centres in 14 countries. It employs a total of 800 people. The company entered the Polish market in 2012. Today it has six centres: in Warsaw (air transport), Dąbrówka, Katowice, Gdynia (sea transport), Poznań and Szczecin.

ShadowLine is another tenant of NWLP’s Hall E. The company will occupy 3.4k square metres to manufacture and package sun shields.
