For the past four years United Bridal Factory has been sewing wedding gowns and accessories in Stargard and Koszalin for the German brand: Bianco Evento.   Dresses made in Stargard are sold in selected wedding salons in over 55 countries worldwide.

Bartosz Wodecki, the owner of the Stargard facility, has decided to abandon the current practice of leasing the production site, and to erect a modern manufacturing facility instead.  He bought a plot of land covering the area of 1.1 ha in Stargard Industrial Park, and in mid-June he signed a letter of intent for cooperation with Stargard Municipality to support the investment through the Local Development Agency in Stargard.  The construction works will start at the turn of July and August, and will cost approx. PLN 6 - 8 million.

According to the plans, the new site of United Bridal Factory will employ 200 persons. At present the company’s headcount is 30 people in Koszalin and 100 - in Sargard.

The investor has also promised to provide internships for the students of School Complex No. 2 in Stargard.  Beginning from September, the School Complex will open a new basic vocational school focused on design and sewing of clothes.
