The company Gryf Stevedoring, with its head office at ul. Górnośląska in Szczecin, has been in the business since 2002. It specialises in packaging and logistics services related to bulk products, including granulated fertilisers. The company has two storage yards with a total area of ca. 90 k sq. m, a high-storage warehouse with a capacity of ca. 12 k tonnes and reloading wharfs.

The plot with a total surface area of 2.5 ha. will see seven new structures and buildings. The first one which is currently under construction, will be a brick warehouse for fertilisers with a storage capacity of 36 k tonnes. The next to be erected will be a steel hall with a capacity of 15 k tonnes and a surface area of 6 k sq. m.

The capacity of warehouses and storage halls is calculated for loose products and packaged products, respectively, explains Marek Olszewski, proxy of Gryf Stevedoring.

The investment in ul. Gdańska will add space to the company’s existing storage space. The facilities will be equipped with two fully automated bag-packaging machines. The investment is worth about PLN 20 M.

The general contractor, construction company Usługi Ogólnobudowlane Bobrowski Sp. z o.o. Sp. K began the project in October. We apply the ‘design and build’ approach. We plan on completing the investment by the end of the year, says the company’s owner Leszek Bobrowski. In its portfolio the firm has a similar investment for Tom2.
