Marketing in practice

“During our conversations with the speakers we heard some really positive feedback from them. The city, organisation of the event and the public which was responsive and willing to interact was a nice surprise to them – this is the summary of the Marketing Trends 2016 event’s organisers.

The Marketing Trends 2016 conference held on 23 and 24 January, was the first such a big advertising, communication and new media event. The group of speakers consisted of 15 experts, including Jacek Kotarbiński, Artur Kurasiński, Yuri Drabent and Piotr Bucki. The conference room at the Dana Hotel hosted 160 listeners and 120 participants who could improve their skills at the workshops. They included marketing experts, businesspeople, customer service employees and researchers from Szczecin, the region and beyond.

Video-marketing was one of the most evident trends. “We want to draw the customers’ attention to the content and present out offering in their own language. In this respect, this year should be the most interesting one for the industry”, says Michał Hamera, co-organiser of Marketing Trends 2016.

Participants had the opportunity to learn how to effectively create video-marketing content. The topics also included advertising products on social media, effective mailing campaigns, or how to analyse online traffic.

“We heard from the participants that the conference was technically informative with a great set of tools that can be used in practice”, adds Michał Hamera, who is already planning new events in partnership with Konrad Dembczyński, but this time, they want to invite experts form other fields in addition to marketing.

Szczecinbiznes.pl was the media partner of the event.
