MEPs Elected

Sławomir Nitras, Artur Zasada (Platforma Obywatelska), Bogusław Liberadzki (Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej-Unia Pracy) i Marek Gróbarczyk (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość) will represent Zachodniopomorski and Lubuski Regions in Brussels.

Sławomir Nitras is a Member of Parliament and the head of Platforma Obywatelska in Szczecin. Artur Zasada is a PO activist in Zielona Góra. Bogusław Liberadzki has been elected to the European Parliament for the next term of office. Marek Gróbarczyk was the Minister of Maritime Economy in PiS government.

The number of MEPs in constituency 13 (Zachodniopomorski and Lubuski Regions) depended on the turnout. Based on the National Election Committee’s data, the turnout amounted to 20.84%. The turnout in the whole Poland equaled 24.53%.
On 7 June the Poles elected 50 MEPs. The European Parliament consists of 738 MEPs, whose term of office lasts for 5 years.
