Brillux Polska Operating Centre shall be located at Europejska Street in Szczecin
The Polish company owned by a German manufacturer of paints and varnishes shall commence the construction of a hall of approx. 1,500 sq. m. to house a painting market and a high storage warehouse.
Brillux Polska has been operating in Szczecin for over a year. It has rented a warehouse at Santocka Street where it has employed ten people. They have sold paints, varnishes and construction materials.
Its new office shall be located at the crossing of Europejska, Bronowicka and Krakowska Street, on a plot of land of 32,000 sq. m. purchased from Regional Branch of Agricultural Property Agency in Szczecin. The office will become an operating center of Brillux Polska (the company is registered in Warsaw) and the logistic and sales center in Poland. It will be used as a training center for construction, finishing and painting companies.
“Since the plot is too large for our purposes, we are looking for partners, preferably from the same industry, who would like to build their own facilities next to ours”, says Piotr Łapko, Sales Director, Brillux Polska.
Another Brillux branch will be established in Poznań, in a facility of over 550 sq. m., which will provide supplies to the local market. Similar investments are planned in Gdańsk, Wrocław, Kraków and Warsaw (next year). Once they have been established, the Szczecin office shall remain the national operating center, delivering goods to clients around the country with its own transport, outside of regions with no other branches.
Brillux, which is a family business with the head office in Münster, has been in business for 127 years, producing paints and varnishes. Further, its offer includes plasters, wall and floor lining, specialized thermo-insulation systems, concrete protection and repair systems and tools. It is one of the largest operators in the industry on the German market. It has four plants in Germany, about 170 branches in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands and Poland, and employs approx. 2,500 people.
