When announcing its Szczecin investment, Gurit did not indicate any specific location. The official release that can be found on the company’s website indicates only that the Szczecin site will complement the production center in Taicang, China, improve customer proximity and enable even faster delivery times while maintaining the known cost-competitive edge.

The Investor and Exporter Service Centre, which has been coordinating the Swiss investment in Szczecin since last year, has informed us that the plant’s headcount will ultimately reach 100 persons.

“I cannot say anything more.  Gurit promised to disclose the details of the project at the end of Q3 2016,” says Jolanta Kielmas, the project coordinator and main specialist of the Investor and Exporter Service Centre, Mazovian Marshal’s Office.
