Bricoman is Growing in Szczecin

A new home improvement store is built at ul. Mieszka I. The opening is expected at the end of the year.

The French chain store has acquired a two-hectare plot of land from Polmozbyt. Four thousand square meters foundations are being laid for the store and the following stage will cover three and a half thousand square meters foundations for the car park and sheltered storing space.

‘Our outlets are also called depots, because they differ considerably from typical building stores’ explains Arnaud Boule, Director, Bricoman Poland.  'We offer a limited product range of 17 thousand SKUs, which are available immediately, and in large quantities. We offer mainly professional products targeted at small construction firms which do not need advice, but come to buy specific items and want them fast and cheap.

Hence, we do not have a large number of advisors and shop assistants in our stores. Goods are located intuitively, so that a customer can find them immediately and shop efficiently. We also offer special space, where our customers can park their cars and load products. ‘Thanks to self-service and a high number of consumers we are able to offer the lowest prices in the market’ ensures Arnaud Boule.

Despite limited payroll, Bricoman depot in Szczecin will employ about 60 persons. The recruitment process has already started  and the store will be opened at the end of the year. The planned construction costs will reach several million zlotys.
