Wincor Nixdorf to open a branch in Szczecin at the beginning of July
German leader in payment solutions will move into Oxygen office building a month later than planned. The company is still hiring.

The Szczecin branch of the company will be part of the Global Customer Care Centre structure which provides information and technical support to the company’s customers. This is the company’s second branch in Poland (the first one is located in Warsaw) and the fifth in the world (in addition to the branches in Mexico, Malaysia and Venezuela).
The Szczecin branch will be headed by Michał Lewicki, who has worked as service desk manager in Wincor Nixdorf’s Warsaw headquarters.
The first 25 newly hired employees of the branch are undergoing training in Warsaw. We plan on recruiting about 80 or 100 people in Szczecin by the end of the year, said Adam Urban, marketing manager from Wincor Nixdorf’s Warsaw office. Ultimately, the company wants to employ over 300 people in Szczecin. A very good command of German is one of the company’s key requirements from all its employees. The company is looking for technical and customer support specialists.
Currently the Global Customer Care Centres of Wincor Nixdorf employ about 550 specialists who provide 24/7 customer support in 18 languages in several countries on four continents.
Wincor Nixdorf is a leading manufacturer of ATMs and producer of payment management solutions in Europe and worldwide. In 2014, the company came first regarding the number of cash registers installed in Europe, and was ranked second in the world with respect to the number of ATMs sold.
For 63 years Wincor Nixdorf has been developing and implementing advanced IT technologies such as "Finger Vein" technology for biometric transaction authentication or pay-pass technologies. The company’s registered seat is in Berlin. On the Polish market Wincor Nixdorf has operated for 25 years. Its branches with over 1,500 employees are located in Warsaw, Krakow and Katowice.
