The total cost of the investment will reach PLN 10.67 million, out of which PLN 5 million have been provided by JESSICA Initiative. The low-interest loan shall be used for improvement of a post-military facility originating from early 20th century.  It will be increased by four floors and turned into a modern medical centre.  The investor plans to open it in September 2013.

The Zachodniopomorskie Province has received over PLN 140 million for JESSICA loans under the Regional Operational Programme.  Beyond the borders of the Szczecin Metropolis Area, the JESSICA funds, currently in the amount of PLN 64.93 million, are managed by Bank Ochrony Środowiska S.A.  BOŚ S.A., acting as the Urban Area Development Fund (UADF), is interested in 16 projects located beyond the Metropolis, whose total value exceeds PLN 609 million and the estimated value of potential JESSICA loan for the investment totals to PLN 165.19 million.  Bank Zachodni WBK, acting as UADF within the Szczecin Metropolis Area, has received PLN 80.64 million under JESSICA funding with total value of projects located within the metropolis and qualified for JESSICA funding reaching PLN 390 million.

At present, both funds are processing applications submitted by investors.  The plans include among others revitalization of old facilities to be used for provision of services, or for residential, hotel or tourist purposes.
