The 26-year old Ukrainian defeated the Spanish tennis player who had his thigh injury as an additional opponent during the match.  Thus, Novodyesov got his revenge for the match lost two months ago. The outcome of the Sunday finals confirms that a curse on Spaniards in Szczecin has not been lifted yet.  The Szczecin tournament has been organized for 21 years and so far, no representative of Spain has won.

Oleksandr Novodyesov defeated Diego Schwartzman form Argentina, who earlier eliminated Grzegorz Panfil - the only Pole to reach the quarterfinals.

Brothers Ken and Neal Skupski won the doubles by beating the Italian team: Arnaboldi / Giannessi.

Marcin Daniec and Grzegorz Poloczek played in the artists’ finals, with the former of them winning 7:5 and 6:3.
