Wioletta Szczepańska has been in charge of the Radisson Blu since January. The change in the position of the Hotel’s General Manager came along with the new franchise agreement with the hotel operator Carlson Rezidor Development Hotel Group (prior to that, a management agreement was in place). Consequently, the Radisson Blu Hotel at pl. Rodła in Szczecin is the first Radisson hotel in Poland which operates under a franchise agreement.

Wioletta Szczepańska also names the appointment of Joanna Niespodziańska for the position of Sales&Marketing Director as an important change.

How’s the business been?

****
Lately, it’s been fantastic. We hope the city will continue giving us reasons for our satisfaction.

What inspires me:

Professionally – the best hotels in the world, not necessarily big chains, but often small, family-run hotels with an unusual idea in the hotel business, for example: Likus Hotele i Restauracje.

People who feel fulfilled and happy, overcoming internal barriers – be it the conquest of the Everest or work on one’s own personal traits.

I listen to:

Classical music  – Mozart, Heandl. I like classic jazz, but I was growing up listening to Guns N' Roses, The Cure, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Nirvana, Lenny Kravitz, Sting, U2. Now I like Selah Sue, Bruno Mars, Benjamin Clementine.

The Cure, Just Like Heaven

Books:

I read books about neurodidactics, about how our brain works and classics:  Dostoyevski’s Brothers Karamazov, Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. The contemporary things I read include Elżbieta Cherezińska’s The North Way saga. I really like her books.

After work:

I spend time with my family. If I had more of it, I would practice sports more.

In the summer, I love the Polish seaside and Polish mountains. Favourite places: Pogorzelica and Niechorze; in the mountains: Tatra, Karkonosze, Beskidy Mountains

My favourite www:

www.spotify.com – online music service

www.e-hotelarz.pl – hospitality sector monthly

www.time.com

www.dziecisawazne.pl – service focusing entirely on the idea of natural child care

www.whiteplate.pl - a blog about cooking by Eliza Mórawska
