Wincor Nixdorf has leased approx. 1000 square meters on the first floor of the Oxygen office building at ul. Malczewskiego for a period of 5 years.
The Szczecin branch of the company will be part of the Global Customer Care Centre providing technical support and information services to the company’s clients. It is the second unit of that type in Poland (there is one in Warsaw too), and the fifth in the world (others are located in Mexico, Malaysia and Venezuela).
It is a great employment opportunity for people representing different age groups and possessing various qualifications, with knowledge of foreign languages, especially German. The recruitment process is now in progress. “Our plan is to employ approx. 80 – 100 individuals by the end of the year,” informs Adam Urban, a marketing manager, Warsaw branch of Wincor Nixdorf.
“The Company is oriented towards personal development of its employees - it ensures training courses and study grants. In addition, to support our staff, we intend to introduce relocation packages for people from all over Poland who are willing to take a job in Szczecin, and to subsidy commuters living on the outskirts of the city,” encourages Mirosław Janik, chairman of the management board, Wincor Nixdorf in Poland.
The availability of employees with good command of German is among the key arguments for opening an office in Szczecin. “Factors such as presence of many IT companies that have been operating in the Szczecin area for some time now, close proximity of the German border and the possibility to get to our German clients fast also inclined us to take this decision,” says Michał Lewicki, service desk manager, Wincor Nixdorf.
