On Wednesday, June 10, the second stage of the North-West Logistic Park investment in Szczecin was officially opened with the participation of the President of Szczecin, Piotr Krzystek, and the representatives of the West Pomeranian Marshal’s Office. North-West Logistic Park was represented by the Chairman of the Management Board - Andrzej Rosiński. North-West Logistic Park Sp. z o.o. which belongs to Waimea Holding S.A. investment group was the investor for this storehouse and production complex with the total floor space of 64,000 square meters.

North-West Logistic Park is the first A-class logistic park in Szczecin. It is situated in the south east part of the city, at Kniewska street, right next to a large transport node directly connected with A6 highway. The company has built four facilities that will serve production, storage and logistic purposes on a 14 ha plot of land.

“Considering that the space has aroused keen interest among potential lessees, we are planning to extend the complex further. We are going to add Hall E with 5,400 square meters of lease space – the construction works will begin in early autumn and the facility will be placed into service in spring 2016.  We also intend to build halls F and G near Hall A. The seven facilities will offer the total of 77 thousand square meters of floor space on 18 ha of land”, says Andrzej Rosiński, Chairman of North-West Logistic Park’s management board. Two new investments – most probably in Szczecin and its surrounding areas – have also been scheduled.

The following companies are among the lessees of Hall A (6,850 square meters) and Hall B (13,380 square meters): Rohlig Suus Logistic, My Trendy Phone, InCom Polska, Żabka Polska and KK Wind Solutions. As part of the second stage of the investment the company placed Hall D (14,000 square meters) and Hall C (the largest of them all – covering the area of 28,000 square meters) into service.  IQ Metal Polska, KK Wind Solutions, Cubic, PartyDeco and HTM have commenced their business there.

According to the plans, more than 1,500 persons will work in the facilities.  The investment project was managed by Trasko-Inwest Sp. z o. o.

The Waimea Group has been successfully implementing development projects throughout Poland since 2010.  It operates on the commercial real estate market as a property company specializing in building and renting modern warehouse, production and office space.   Over the last three years it has built more than 85 000 square meters of logistics, production and office space.

This year the Waimea Group plans to begin construction of warehouse, production and office buildings with a total area of over 120 000 square meters.  The plans include warehouse projects as well as multifunctional storage facilities – modern CARO terminals that will meet the highest international standards of quality.
