Seaport Authority under New Management

As of March 1st the seaports in Szczecin and Świnoujście will be managed by Dariusz Słaboszewski, the existing CEO of Żegluga Szczecińska.

The Supervisory Board of Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaport Authority announced the new appointments on February 16th. Kazimierz Drzazga has been named new deputy chairman in charge of the infrastructure.
 
The previous management board with Zbigniew Miklewicz in the chair position was dismissed at the end of January.  
Dariusz Słaboszewski (52) had been chairman of Żegluga Szczecińska from November 2007. He is a graduate of the Maritime University of Szczecin. He also has a postgraduate degrees of the European School of Law and Administration and the University of Business and Administration in Szczecin.
 
Kazimierz Drzazga (64) was appointed chairman of the Regional Assembly in 2010. Prior to that he was a councillor in the Police Municipality. From 2006 to 2008 he held the position of deputy chairman and CEO of Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaport Authority. He has a degree from the National School of Public Administration (2002), a degree in history from the University of Szczecin (2004) and postgraduate degree in logistics management from the same university (2005).
 
In the meantime the supervisory board commenced a procedure for appointment of deputy chairman in charge of business development.
 
Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaport Authority is a public company with the State Treasury holding majority interest.
