German Mycs in G-hall of North-West Logistics Park 2 in Szczecin
Mycs has leased the entire G-hall in North-West Logistics Park 2 in Szczecin. Headquartered in Berlin, Mycs sells customisable furniture for the office and home, and operates six physical showrooms in Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland. It also plans to extend its business to other European countries.
Mycs is a new German enterprise offering customisable, fixed-module furniture that customers can configure to their liking.
"From the very outset of their business activity in 2014, the founders: Kachun To and Christoph Jung, have been putting into practice the idea of allowing customers free rein to the design of their furniture" explains Patrycja de Valderrama, warehouse coordinator, Mycs. “The product ordered needs to ideally fit with the customer’s individual preferences and requirements as to the shape, material, colour and specific attributes. At present the company’s offer includes, among others, dining, coffee and side, wooden, office tables, bookshelves, libraries, wall units, wardrobes, sideboards, chests and high boards. We would like our customers to be able to furnish their entire home with Mycs furniture. That is why over the next few months the company intends to expand its offering to include sofas, chairs and beds.”
Mycs exports to Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland.
“In the mid-term perspective we are going to develop new European markets and expand further in Europe,” says Patrycja de Valderrama.
The Polish warehouse of Mycs operates in North-West Logistics Park at ul. Kniewska in Szczecin. In April the company moved to new facilities.
“G-hall consists of 4 thousand square meters of warehouse space and 320 meters of offices. Mycs has leased the whole,” says Jolanta Gałązka, spokesperson for Waimea Holding S.A.
Waimea’s activity is focused on construction of logistics complexes, cargo structures, build-to-suit (BTS) objects and multi-modal terminals. Among others, the company has carried out North-West Logistics Park and North-West Logistics Park 1 & 2 projects at ul. Kniewska in Szczecin. It has sold four halls of North-West Logistic Park to Exeter Property Group from the U.S. which invests in logistics and warehousing facilities.
Waimea is planning to undertake new investments over the next three years - it wants to construct and commercialize more than 200 thousand square meters of production and warehousing space, inter alia in Szczecin, Stargard, Bydgoszcz and Rzeszów.
Waimea Logistic Park Stargard - a logistics centre with a total area of approx. 80 000 sq. m, (six halls) will be erected in Stargard on a plot of approx. 16.7 hectares.
