Dr House will be the star of Szczecin Music Fest 2014

Hugh Laurie, a British actor, scriptwriter, musician, director and writer of books, has played in many great films, but is most famous for his leading role in Dr House TV series. The lovers of Dr House surely remember that Gregory House had a piano and sometimes even played it. The real life Hugh Laurie is a gifted instrumentalist: he plays the piano, guitar, drums, harmonica and the saxophone. And he sings.

The latter activity has absorbed him over the recent years. He regularly records new songs and gives many concerts. “One must add that he is excellent at that too!” - assure the concert organizers. “A slight lisp, unidentifiable accent and perfect communication of emotions – this is a mixture that many ‘professional’ musicians lack.  Sold-out concerts all over the world confirm that such fusion of excellent acting skills and techniques with musical talent is energizing and distinctive.

The artist has recorded two albums so far: Let Them Talk (2011) and Didn't It Rain (2013). Both were recognized as bestsellers in many countries of the world, including Poland.  Hugh Laurie will perform with the Copper Bottom Band at the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle on 29 July 2014.

The concert will begin at 08:00 p.m. and ticket prices range from PLN 95 to 135.
