70 per cent increase of revenues for OT Logistics

As compared to 2013, the revenues of OT Logistics Capital Group (a TSL leader in Central Europe) grew to PLN 831.8 million in 2014, which constitutes a 70 per cent increase.

The EBITDA of the Group amounted to PLN 82 million in 2014, i.e. almost 15 per cent more than in 2013. At the same time, the net profit reached the amount of PLN 32.9 million, which is 16 per cent more per annum.  The fourth quarter of 2014 proved especially profitable, because the group generated approx. PLN 220.9 million of revenues, i.e. 80 per cent more than over the analogous period in 2013.
 
OT Logistics Capital Group may perceive 2014 as a momentous year, among others due to the acquisitions of C.Hartwig Gdynia Group and Bałtycki Terminal Drobnicowy Gdynia. The consolidation of these entities was among the main contributors to the extension of the Group’s business and its opening to new markets.
 
“We are already reaping the rewards of the new synergies, and in future we expect gradual profitability-related improvements in the forwarding segment.  At the same time we are also unceasingly looking out for new acquisition opportunities - for instance, recently we have put forward a proposal to buy shares in Lotos Kolej,” comments Piotr Pawłowski, the president of OT Logistics S. A.'s management board.     
 
The fact that in 2014 OT Logistics S.A. managed to obtain the total of PLN 150 million from bond issue, to be spent on further development of the Group and debt refinancing, confirms that investors have confidence in the company. 
In 2015 OT Logistics S.A. plans to undertake a number of activities to strengthen further the Group’s standing in the regional market for transportation, forwarding and logistics. 
 
“Apart from being ready for further acquisitions, we are continuously extending the scope of our activities, inter alia by developing the services of railway transportation,” explains Piotr Pawłowski.
