The investment called: Nowa Cukrownia will be undertaken on 11 hectares of currently undeveloped land enclosed by the streets:  Cukrowa, Południowa and Krygiera (formerly Autostrada Poznańska). The investor purchased the plot from the Polski Cukier company.

The complex will include three-storey residential buildings. It is worth noting that future inhabitants will enjoy better views from their windows, as the buildings will be situated in comfortable distances from each other (from 25 to 50 meters).  In addition, Nowa Cukrownia will provide high-standard apartments - Alsecco intends to assign some of the former factory and drying house buildings for that purpose (at the side of  ul.  Cukrowa).  A garage with the capacity of several dozen cars will be located on the ground floor – a system of elevators is planned to be installed there to take building inhabitants directly from the garage to their apartment floors.  The apartments on the last storey will have special entrance passages to spacious terraces.

Four buildings housing 260 apartments will be ready and available for their owners move in in the second quarter 2016.  The apartments will vary in size, from 26 to 90 square meters , with prices ranging from PLN 3950 to PLN 4350 per one square meter. Apartments will be put out for sale on Friday, March, 13.

A hotel, an office building and a multi-storey car park

A five-storey hotel will be erected at the junction of two streets: Cukrowa and Krygiera. Alsecco also intends to build a modern (and cost-efficient in use) office building (on the side of ul. Cukrowa) and a four-storey car park next to it. In response to the needs of non-governmental organizations in Szczecin, the Company is planning to offer them preferential office space leasing terms.

“Individual architectural elements will be modelled after the style of the old factory buildings. Nowa Cukrownia is intended as a well-thought-out complex that will combine several functions. For that reason green zones, an internal promenade with bicycle lanes, playgrounds, a multifunctional sports field, a gym, a café and a pizza hut are necessary”,  says Grzegorz Kecman, the co-owner of Alsecco.   The complex development will not be fenced but a monitoring system will be installed, the idea being that the grounds should be available to all Szczecin inhabitants.

Alsecco was established as a property development company in 2010. So far it has carried out single-family housing projects in the areas of Pilchowo, Warszewo and Krzekowo, it has also built a housing development called “Park Leśny” near Lake Szmaragdowe. At present it is in the process of finalising the building construction works on multi-family residential units in the Szczecin centre, at ul. Kusocińskiego.
Before that Alsecco participated in the construction of Ascana shopping centre in Gorzów Wielkopolski, A1 highway and residential sales and service complexes in Świnoujście at  ul. Wojska Polskiego, 11 listopada, Malczewskiego and Chełmońskiego streets.
