The building construction project has already been launched. The company is going to spend over one million PLN on the extension to be erected on the 13-thousand-square-meter plot at ul. Kościuszki which is immediately adjacent to the area where Jupiter is currently operating. As a result, in November this year the aggregate floor space of the plant will increase by 6.3 thousand square meters, up to 13 thousand in total. The plant extension project also provides for construction of new roads, squares and a car park.

 

As per the contract signed with Prime Construction - the contractor, the new buildings will be placed into service on November 2. They will be equipped with special systems and devices, including six cranes, antistatic flooring and a system of styrene filters.  

 

- Adding a new factory floor is associated with the fact that we will soon begin cooperation with a new client – a wind sector leader, so our output is sure to grow - explains Przemysław Majewski, the director of the plant.  

 

- The new factory floor will drive our overall growth, support professional development of our staff and help the local community, because we will create many new jobs. Within a two-year horizon we are planning to hire one hundred new employees, mainly production staff - adds Magdalena Rydzewska-Cupryn, HR generalist at Jupiter Group Polska. 

 

Jupiter Group A/S was incorporated in 1982 and it is based in Denmark. The world leading manufacturer of composite components for the wind turbine industry, it offers nacelles and spinner covers, and foam and balsa core kits for blade production. Jupiter Group A/S has production facilities in Denmark, the United States, China and Poland. 

 

Jupiter Group Polska in Trzeszczyn is the largest Jupiter Group facility in Europe. Composite nacelle and spinner covers for the wind turbine industry leaders such as Vestas or General Electric are produced here. The Company launched its business activity in September 2014 with a production floor of 3 thousand square meters and 70 employees - less than a year later it had 3.6 thousand square metres more and 60 additional workers. At present the headcount of the local Jupiter branch equals 250 people and the plant occupies 6.6 thousand square metres on two factory floors. Jupiter Polska manufactures several hundred covers a year.
