The financial standing of Police and Grupa Azoty is better than last year
The company has published its financial results for the third quarter.

Zakłady Chemiczne Police earned PLN 15 million of net profit, whereas last year it generated only PLN 6 million over the corresponding period. The sales revenues also went up from PLN 505 million to 600 million.
At the end of the third quarter of 2015 the entire Grupa Azoty (the plant in Police is a member thereof) had PLN 2.4 bn in sales revenues (versus PLN 2.3 billion in 3Q 2014) and it obtained the net profit at the level of PLN 82 million (as compared with PLN 9 million over the analogous period last year).
According to the announcement published by the group, the improved results are a consequence of the continued hot streak in the fertilizer segment which takes advantage of the favourable tendencies in the raw material market.
