Services for American Students Developed in Szczecin
Consileon Polska has been preparing to launch over 200 innovative printing kiosks at US universities.

The devices, resembling an ATM, with a touchscreen and a feeder, can print any document from a portable data storage device or a cloud. Kiosks are extremely popular among students who so far had to print the traditional way.
The first to use InkSmartKiosk were students from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Today there are 40 kiosks used by thousand of people at 13 universities, also in Hawaii and Alaska.
The project is the work of a Silicon Valley start-up INK Labs Corp. Its technological partner is Consileon Polska. In practice the entire software development is performed remotely from Szczecin.
“The latest function that we have added is photo printing. The user may print a photo saved on a data storage device or in the cloud, on Facebook or Instagram,” says Artur Chmaro, one of the engineers working on the project at Consileon Polska.
“The photos are printed in top quality just like photos printed at the photographer’s,” adds Michał Orman, Head of the INK project at Consileon Polska.

The project receives a lot of attention from investors who value its development potential and are eager to get involved.
“The investors include Tony Hsieh − CEO at Zappos and Mitch Lowe − Co-Founder at Netflixie. Here in Szczecin we regularly have Jonathan Manzi − an investor who, to quote Wikipedia: is known as the youngest person in history to attain a net worth exceeding $1 million via industry, doing so at the age of 16,” says Marcin Kaczmarek, CEO at Consileon Polska.
Currently the company is not planning to deploy its kiosks at Polish universities, however, considering the ambitions and long-term plans of investors, they may do so in future.
Consileon Polska’s developments and implementation of the technology for INK Labs Corp were recognised by the West Pomeranian Business School which awarded it with a Diamentowy Matriks.
