The specifics of Szczecin-Goleniów - Edinburgh flights will be announced at the beginning of March, and Ryanair will start selling tickets around that time too. Flights to Warsaw are scheduled for 7:10 p.m., Monday through Sunday, and the price of a one way ticket will start at PLN 29.

Ryanair served the Edinburgh - Szczecin-Goleniów route during the summer seasons of 2012 and 2013.

At present the Ryanair lines fly from Szczecin-Goleniów to London, Liverpool, Dublin and Warsaw. The Goleniów airport is also served by LOT (three flights a day to Warsaw), Wizz Air (to Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger and London) and Norwegian (to Oslo). In addition, every summer tourist agencies offer six charter destinations:  beginning from June we will be able to fly from Szczecin to Crete, Corfu, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Montenegro.

Every year the number of passengers using the airport goes up.  Over 2016 Szczecin-Goleniów served the record number of almost 468 thousand passengers, which constitutes a 13.4 percent growth as compared with 2015. Elwira Borecka, the spokesperson for the airport, indicates that the Wizz Air route to Bergen in Norway, which was launched in mid-2015, significantly contributed to that increase.

Szczecin-Goleniów airport underwent a major overhaul - the apron area and the runway were repaired and modernized, which made it possible to use the airport for army transports during the manoeuvres taking place in the region.  Heavy aircraft such as C-17, B-767, B-747 (Jumbo Jet) or AN-124 weighing almost 400 tons landed here in May and June last year.

2017 also looks promising - it is estimated that by the end of the year Szczecin-Goleniow Airport will have served approx.  560 thousand passengers.
