What is the Pearls of Polish Business competition?

This year, the Pearls of Polish Business were awarded for the 11th time.  The competition has been organised by the business magazine Świat Biznesu and its Editor-in-Chief Włodzimierz Abkowicz.  The readers of Świat Biznesu are among those who send their suggestions regarding the entrants in the competition.  Candidates are judged in two categories, i.e. Business Event and Business Personality by an independent panel of judges comprised of publishers and scholars in the area of economics from Szczecin.  Winners of the awards are determined by secret ballot.  This year, the panel of judges was chaired by Professor Aneta Zelek from the West Pomeranian Business School.
