Apart from the facility near Szczecin, PMC Group, with its headquarters in Swedish Helsingborg, has production units in China and India, and plants in Finland, Sweden and Denmark. In 2016 the group’s turnover reached nearly EUR 158 million.

Currently the group is expanding the plant in Rosówek by another 1.5 thousand square meters. The plant manufactures hydraulic systems used in the marine, mining, food and medical industries in Europe and Asia. This is the next stage of the investment project which was planned over two years ago. At present the company operates in a 2.3-thousand-square-meter facility, 1.7 thousand of which is used for production and warehousing. The number of staff is c. 40 persons. At the end of August this year, once the second stage of the project, which is under way, is completed, the plant will be expanded to 3.8 thousand square meters. In 12-18 months the number of staff will increase by 20-30 new employees.

From the beginning we planned to gradually increase our presence in Poland and take over the group’s operating activities carried out by the plants in Scandinavia. We have already become the best-organised and the most profitable unit within the group, says Piotr Bloch, Director of the plant, whose annual turnover is at PLN 30 million.

More investments are to be made: We are collecting proposals for another construction project. This time it will be a 2.5-thousand-square-meter distribution centre near our present location.

The investment project is managed by Igryf, a special-purpose vehicle established by the owners of FMS − Financial Management Services and engineering company Derkon. PMC Hydraulika is the facility’s lessee.
