The historic building that previously housed the rector’s office of the University of Agriculture will now be turned into an apartment building. The owner purchased the building from West Pomeranian University of Technology (co-founded by the University of Agriculture) and has already began the revitalisation works. Both one-room apartments covering the area of 20 square meters and 100 square-meter large studio suites will be on offer. Some of the apartments will be available under the MDM system.

“Our price per square meter, when compared with similar locations (e.g. at Krzywoustego street where the price for a square meter of a one-room apartment starts from PLN 6400) seems attractive, because it begins at PLN 5250,” says Marta Lewandowska from Soft Elektronik. Under the MDM programme, the prices start at PLN 4500 per one square meter. The company also sells parking spaces in the underground garage and storage rooms.

Soft Elektronik plans to start construction works in November this year. According to the schedule, the project should be completed in December next year.  All systems, windows and the entire roofing will be replaced. The building will be thermally insulated, new elevators will be installed and the finishing will meet modern standards. “In fact, only the foundations, external and internal walls and parts of the roof framework will be left of the old building," adds Marta Lewandowska. The modernisation will be carried out in line with the requirements set by the conservation officer restorer, and the value of the investment project should not exceed PLN 19 million.

The building at Janosika street is not the first historic revitalisation project undertaken by Soft Elektronik. The company portfolio includes the following investments: Śródmiejskie Tarasy at Ściegiennego and Bohaterów Warszawy streets, the building at the crossing of Jagiellońska and Śląska streets housing a branch of BZ WBK bank and the building at Janickiego street.

Soft Elektronik owns and manages several dozen buildings and two large fitness clubs. It also manages a number of tenants organizations. At present Soft Elektronik is conducting four large building investments. Additionally, the company’s business involves installation of electric systems, computer, internet and TV networks. It also operates in the sector of wind power plants. Soft Elektronik  was established in 1984 by Michał Chrobrowski.
