Bosch to hire 260 employees in Goleniów
Owned by a German holding, sia Abrasives has officially started expansion of its plant in Goleniów Industrial Park.

Once the investment project is completed, the headquarters of Swiss sia Abrasives AG in the Goleniów Industrial Park will cover an area of 28 thousand square meters and will include a production plant, warehouse and offices. The number of staff will increase from 140 to nearly 400 (specialist machine operators and unskilled workers).
The investor has announced that in January the plant in Goleniów will be equipped with several dozen machines necessary for the packaging of abrasives and equipment. They will be imported from a Swiss plant in Frauenfeld. The production in the new facility is scheduled to start in autumn next year.
This investment project is yet another stage of an agreement which Poland's BTS and sia Abrasives made in April and which initiated the takeover of shares in the Polish partner by the Swiss company. BTS has been cooperating with Switzerland for 25 years. It was responsible for packaging and local distribution of sanding systems in Poland and in the Baltic states.
sia Abrasives AG is one of the three biggest manufacturers of abrasives and sanding systems. The Swiss company has been operating for 135 years. It has been present in over 80 countries all over the world and hires nearly 1.3 thousand people.
